Physician Recruitment
FINDING THE RIGHT PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY
Finding the right or optimal practice opportunity upon completion of medical school and residency training can be a daunting task! You are prepared and looking forward to practicing medicine, however, training programs do not devote much time, if any, to such topics as curriculum vitae preparation, practice assessment, interviewing skills, contract negotiations or practice matching. In addition, residency programs do not build in many interviewing days into their training schedule. You already realize it is imperative that you do your homework in assessing the myriad of available opportunities as well as being judicious about where you end up interviewing to ensure enough time to really look at those jobs you are interested in. However…once you have completed the interview process, another challenging phase begins!

Rarely will a physician interview for a practice opportunity that meets and satisfies 100% of his/her practice and monetary preferences in the desired geographic location. Hopefully your initial groundwork before interviewing will aid you in your decision-making process. Listed below is helpful information has that been compiled by First Choice recruiters that you will want to review.

First Choice recruiters represent job opportunities throughout the United States and are some of the most knowledgeable physician recruiters in the industry. We are all members of the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR) and/or the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO), and as such, abide by NAPR's and NALTO's strict code of ethics.
